EMC Laboratory – Electromagnetic Compatibility Tests

AEV’s EMC laboratory offers comprehensive services in the field of electromagnetic compatibility for electronics manufacturers, development teams and industrial companies. We have modern testing equipment, a partially anechoic chamber and a team of experienced experts who ensure accurate measurements according to applicable standards and individual requirements.

Our tests provide key data for product certification, debugging and verification of functionality in real-world operation. The goal is to ensure that your equipment meets all legislative, technical and operational EMC requirements.

Electromagnetic interference and emission measurements

We perform detailed emissions tests to determine whether a device emits unwanted electromagnetic interference. This includes:
  • Measurements in a semi-anechoic chamber
  • Measurements of conducted interference in the 9 kHz - 200 MHz band
  • Radiated interference in the 9 kHz - 26 GHz band
The results reveal design problems, poor shielding, parasitics or inadequate filtration.

Immunity tests against disturbing influences

We verify how the device behaves when exposed to demanding load conditions common in real-world operation. We perform, for example:
  • tests for resistance to fluctuations and power outages
  • ESD tests - electrostatic discharge
  • simulation of operating conditions that can cause instability, errors or malfunctions.
These tests are necessary for final certification, serial production and prototype development.

Product consulting, support and debugging

In addition to measurements, we offer expert consultations to development teams that are struggling with problematic device behavior from an EMC perspective. We provide:
